Sophos Diagnostic Utility: Download and run the standalone version

Windows

1. To download the standalone SDU for Windows:
   1. Modern platforms (Windows 10 64-bit and later, and Windows Server 2016 and later) visit the compliance page.
   2. For legacy platforms (Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 32-bit, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2), visit the compliance page.
2. Complete the form and agree to the End User Terms of Use to proceed with your download.
3. Extract the downloaded zip file to your preferred location.
4. Double click the sduguiwrapper.exe then click Start to proceed.
5. Once the SDU has finished collecting the logs, click Open folder. You will have a zip file that we need you to send to us so we can upload it to Sophos for further analysis.

Note: The SDU logs will be saved on C:\Windows\Temp\sdu-yyyymmdd_hhmmss_xxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\.

macOS

1. To download the standalone SDU for Mac, visit the compliance page.
2. Complete the form and agree to the End User Terms of Use to proceed with your download.
3. Double-click the downloaded Sophos Diagnostic Utility app and click Run to proceed.
4. The SDU logs are saved into a file called ComputerName_DATE_TIME_SDU.zip on the desktop. We need you to send it to us so we can upload it to Sophos for further analysis.
