How to install and configure Fortinet fortiVPN client

STEP 1 – Download the latest version available here à https://www.ipconnectx.ca/support/knowledgebase.php?article=8 (newer version may be available so make sure to check the knowledgebase as we will update the link from time to time)

 STEP 2 – Open the FortiClient console and click on Configure VPN

 STEP 3 – make sure to check all the checkmarks (red arrows pointing at them) and fill in the info inside the boxed (marked by red boxes). All the required information should be provided by our support team member. Don’t forget to click Save at the end.

 STEP 4 – Once the configuration is saved you will get to this screen.  Enter the password you were provided (this would typically be a different password than your computer password) and click connect. If all goes well, you will connect to your remote office and will get this screen.

 When you are ready to disconnect from remote office, go to the system tray, pick the fortiVPN icon, and select disconnect.

If something goes wrong and it fails to connect, please take notice of the percentage that it failed at and call our support line.
